That’s interesting, but I don’t get why they’re portraying it as scary or concerning – I have always thought it’s exciting to realize how much more we have to learn.

Well, we don’t know how the universe began, but we do know quite a lot of other things.
But finding out some theories aren’t the definitive answer and scientist have to rethink things and can discover lots of interesting new things just makes life more fun for anyone interested in the subject.

I think we all get what you mean, Hanneke! Personally, I think we’ve tripped over enough very weird things in astronomy and physics that it’s not surprising to encounter a lot of weird stuff going on at this point. I agree that I think this is fun more than scary … so far …
