This is the first year I can remember when ALL the magnolias have bloomed and NONE have been zapped by bad weather at the wrong moment.

Hellebore

Naamah, helping me take pictures of the hellebores. And Haydee, in the background.
oh, those are lovely flowers.
Lovely!
We’re still in the early daffodils stage of spring, here.
Lovely!
I went from sprouts to dwarf irises, crocuses, and scilly all in bloom in one day. The next day, dwarf daffodils.
Magnolias are really stunning, aren’t they? We’ve got snowdrops, crocuses, some early daffodils, primroses, and just a few of the Japanese dwarf irises blooming now. We also just barely had most of the last snowstorm melt . . . today.
I want some hellebores, but they are rather expensive, so I want to make sure they go in somewhere they really, truly won’t get disturbed.
The hellebores are stunning. I don’t think I’ve ever seen those before. I still get surprised by the variety in your magnolias too. So pretty!
