From Book Riot, this: First Trailer for the new LITTLE WOMEN Miniseries
The brief post offers, as stated, a trailer for the upcoming miniseries, which is the first I’ve heard about it.
The author of the post, Annika Barranti Klein, says, “I don’t think we’ve had a good cinematic portrayal of Jo March yet. Katharine Hepburn and Winona Ryder are two of my favorite actresses of all time, but I simply was not sold on either of them as Jo.”
I kind of agree. And this is a book I love. I’ll be keeping an eye out for the miniseries.
Speaking of books adapted to visual media, the adaptation of The City and the City is apparently still on track: David Morrissey to lead BBC Two’s adaptation of China Miéville’s The City And The City. There’s one I am DEFINITELY impatient to watch, rather than thinking it would perhaps be nice to see it someday.
